Importance

Weed of arable land on light soils particularly in the south and east of England.

1. Cotyledons 3 mm broad with indent at the tip. Oblong hispid sessile leaves with indents on the leaf margins.

2. Plants 10-25 cm.

3. Bell shaped purple terminal flowers.
