Understanding farmer’s needs

We will ensure that the future of British and Irish farming is at the heart of everything we do, by:

Engaging with British and Irish farmers to ensure their farming needs are understood and by advocating their interests whenever we can.

Listening and learning are very important to us so we host over 25 annual events for farmers, agronomists and industry figures, including oilseed rape and wheat Field Days, Four Seasons Farmers events and the Bayer CropScience Potato and Vegetable Conference.

Sharing information, knowledge and experience is vital for the industry to get the best from our range and you can find us at over 20 events throughout the year including Cereals, LAMMA, Linking Environment And Farming (LEAF) Open Farm Day, the Elsoms Vegetable Open Day, the British Beet Research Organisation (BBRO) Winter Conference, the Onion and Carrot Growers Conference and the Brassica and Leafy Salad Conferences.

Did you know our Bayer Assist Technical Helpline was ranked ‘best for overall performance’ of all major crop protection manufacturers in a recent survey of agronomists by independent research company GfK?

These are just some of the ways we ensure that the future of British and Irish farming is at the heart of everything we do.
