Growers across the UK have everything to gain and absolutely nothing to lose from taking advantage of ‘the best OSR establishment scheme in the business’. Covering all Dekalb varieties, the free Bayer scheme provides a credit of £100/bag for 2023 establishment failures.

“Every DK grower really should join this scheme,” stresses Bayer campaign manager, Grace Hayward. “It’s an absolute no-brainer. After buying your seed through one of our many participating suppliers all you have to do is take a few minutes to register here
 before September 30.

“Registration is very simple, completely free and allows you to claim through your supplier for any blocks of 6ha or more of any of our varieties sown before September 20 failing to establish by October 31.

“The small print is negligible and our claims process easy and efficient,” she insists.
“It is all part of the ‘beyond the bag’ support we offer growers of our tried and trusted hybrids. So, just in case CSFB or other pressures prove too much even for them, we will help.”

Ms Hayward suggests growers check their seed supplier’s participation in the
scheme (either directly or through
dekalb.uk@bayer.com) when purchasing.

She further advises growers of the specialist oil variety (V367OL) to contact their supplier directly for information on the parallel HOLL-specific Establishment Scheme.
