Benefiting from the application of class-leading chemistry, iblon’s broad-spectrum activity is underpinned by the cyclopropyl ring on the nitrogen molecule at the centre of the active substance, isoflucypram.
This feature is unique to iblon, and testing reveals that the N-cyclopropyl ring significantly enhances the molecule’s fungicidal broad-spectrum activity levels when compared to molecules without the ring.
The novel chemistry of iblon is delivered through Bayer’s industry-leading Leafshield formulation system, which has been rigorously tested at the world-class Bayer Application Technology Centre to ensure the highest level of product performance, giving you confidence in-field.

Where disease incidence in untreated crops was assessed as being less than 5%, iblon-treated crops yielded an average 0.5 t/ha over the untreated. AICC trials performed in 2020.
