The following terms and conditions apply to the prize draw for participants of the Bayer Barley Gin Competition.
Entry into the prize draw is free, open to individuals over 18, resident in the UK, who work in the agricultural industry (for example farmers, farm managers, growers, agronomists, sprayers), except for employees of Bayer, or its holding or subsidiary companies, and their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the competition. One entry can be made per person.
All entries must be made from the 14th February 2022 and will close by 5pm on the 28th February 2022.
To enter, entrants must comment on the Bayer Twitter (@Bayer4cropsuk), Instagram (@bayer4cropsuk) or Facebook (@LetsTalkCrops) competition posts with a suggestion for the name of the gin.
The entries for the gin name will then be collected and whittled down to the top 4 and polls will be held on the @Bayer4cropsuk Twitter and Instagram page where followers will be asked choose their favourite name. The top name will win a distillery tour and 6 bottles of the gin with their winning name on the bottle. The three runners up will also win 6 bottles of gin.
The competition winner and runners up will be announced on the Bayer social pages on the 14th March 2022. The winners must confirm their UK address and email address within 48 hours of Bayer contacting them via their social media account on Twitter to advise they are the winner. Where a winner chooses not to accept the prize, they forfeit any and all claims to it. No cash alternative is available. Bayer is not responsible for lost, delayed or illegible entries, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, and computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Bayer’s decision is final, and no correspondence shall be entered into.
If you are a winner of a prize, you agree that Bayer may use your name to announce the winners of this promotion and for any reasonable and related promotional purposes. By entering, you agree that any personal information provided by you in connection with this promotion may be held and used by Bayer or its agents and suppliers to administer the promotion and for internal reporting purposes of Bayer.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law.
