Bayer-LEAF Education Awards

Planting trees

Welcome to the official page for the Bayer-LEAF Education Awards!

The Bayer LEAF Education Awards celebrate the very best of agricultural education initiatives on-farm, in the classroom, or online. Together, Bayer and LEAF Education want to help inspire and mobilise champions of food and farming education, so that future generations grow up knowing more about farming and what it delivers as well as helping nurture a lifelong interest in the natural world and an awareness of their role in protecting it.

This year’s Awards winners were announced at a prestigious Ceremony at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, 20 November. You can learn more about them on this page. We do hope you enjoy reading their stories, and are inspired by what they do to raise awareness of the invaluable contribution farmers make to society.

Brockhill School Farm

Brockhill School Farm is part of Brockhill School of Performing Arts near Hythe, Kent. The School Farm has been involved with every year group through the curriculum time, choice and enrichment activities. The team's dedication to teaching the students about farming and embedding agriculture across the curriculum greatly impressed the judges who were delighted to award them the Secondary School Partnership Award recognising a farm business that has gone out of its way to build a successful relationship with one or more secondary schools (11-18 years old).
