Common on fallow land and in set-aside.

Groundsel - young1. Cotyledons are oval, narrowing to a stalk and purple beneath.
Groundsel 22. The first true leaves have characteristic step-like teeth and are stalkless and smooth, with a dark shiny green colour.
Groundsel 33. An annual of upright growth with small yellow 'tubular' flowers and a ragged appearance.
